About LAMDA
Founded in 1861, LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) is the oldest drama school in the UK and offers exams in speech and drama, to any age and to people with varied aspirations. Skills developed serve people throughout life – based on the ability to:
- Read easily, fluently and with good understanding
- Improve confidence in speaking and listening
- Expand vocabulary to improve powers of self-expression
- Research and create persuasive formal presentations
- Memorise and recall information
